Coronavirus Contingency Planning
As we are all aware, there is an ever-growing rise in the people having to self-isolate due to more confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK. The guidelines set by the Government in response to this are also ever changing.
At Forest Freight, we are constantly monitoring Public Health England’s advice and guidance plus any associated updates. We have supplied all of our staff with large bottles of hand sanitiser and face masks. We have also instructed all staff to maintain basic personal hygiene and to take all precautionary steps – as would be the case if they had a common cold or normal flu-like symptoms. Our offices, vehicles and main working areas are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis to ensure maximum safety for our staff and visitors.
In addition, we have given all key members of staff the ability to work remotely should this be required in the coming days or weeks.
For any of our customers that now require storage as a result of companies not being able to accept deliveries and events being cancelled, please get in touch and we will provide you with the fairest rate possible. Please also note that if you require extra logistical assistance for supply chain, Forest Freight is on hand to offer that support.
Regardless of the situation we will remain open, staffing levels will be maintained and the operational capabilities of Forest Freight will not recede.
